Interference by channel graph, and logs

Hi,

Can any give a brief explanation of the interference by channel graph (I attach the file)?

In the lask week a problem of disconnections with client has came up, I'm not sure of the reason but I have checked logs an there is some lines about interference

I attach a file with lines of logs also; I'm worry about the lines that says: "Reason:Unspecified ReasonCode: 1" because I can not find out the root o f the problem,

Hi Filiberto,

The graph is showing how strong (in dBm on the Y axis) co-channel interference is being detected by a particular AP for all the 802.11b/g channels.

According to your graph and the logs

it looks like the AP is changing channel due to a too high interference on channel 11 and the client is consequently being disassociated.

You may for example wanna look into your RF spectrum to check whether you have other APs creating co-channel interference.

Hi Fede,

I know it is really long time since this was posted, but I have a related question here if you can help.

What is the interpretation of the 2 different colored lines in this graph?

Blue lines are "showing how strong (in dBm on the Y axis) co-channel interference is being detected by a particular AP"

What about the Red lines?

I would assume that they are related to AP self effect or something like this, can you comment?

Hi Ansam,

The blue bars represent the interference RSSI and the red bars represent the interference duty cycle.
