topic n+1 Geographically Separate in Wireless

Hello Experts.

I need to configure and scenario with two or three primaries WLCs and one back up WLC. I already read posts about how to configure HA method. But still I have this doubts.

1.- In one remote site I have my VLANs and DG locally in my switch CORE and the respective dynamics interfaces. The same configuration apply for the rest of my sites. How I need to configure my back up WLC? I need to create dynamic interfaces too ? What addressing must I need to use?

2.- My WLAN configuration on my primaries WLCs must be special?

if I turn off one of my primary WLC the ap joined to secondary WLC but I don't have services.

Thanks id advance

How are you configuring this? True HA will only work over a layer 2 link.

If you are doing geographically separate locations it is slightly different.

Well my primary WLC I have this dynamic interfaces:

VIP Users

VLAN: 10

IP: 192.168.10.1

Mask: 255.255.255.0

DG 192.168.10.254

Employee Users

VLAN: 20

IP: 192.168.20.1

Mask: 255.255.255.0

DG 192.168.20.254

The default-gateways are configured on my local site where my primary unit is and they're configure on the Switch CORE.

The Secondary Unit is en the Data Center.

And I have this configuration on my dynamic interfaces:

VLAN: 10

IP: 192.168.10.2

Mask: 255.255.255.0

DG 192.168.10.254

Employee Users

VLAN: 20

IP: 192.168.20.2

Mask: 255.255.255.0

DG 192.168.20.254

I don't have any SVI on this CORE I just have VLAN 10 and 20 on L2.
