topic 1572EAC-M Power level issue in Wireless

WLC 8500 with 8.0.120.0

I installed one 1572EAC-M AP on power injector.

When I check the power level allowed it's only 3 levels "16, 13, and 10"

The WLC "show country channels support tx-power" it allowes me to use 27dbm on certain channels, why can't I see those?

My country is SA

Thanks.

check your regulatory domain

check your regulatory domain restrictions on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

If regulatory domain allows higher power level for the frequency band AP operate, then it could be a software issue of the 8.0.x code as well.

Refer this thread on similar issue but with different AP model

https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12982941/low-tx-power-levels-cisco-3702i-ap

HTH
