topic AP authentication in Wireless

I am using the 1010 series light weight access points. Also I am using cisco ACS 3.3. The problem I am having is that when I authenticate through the Cisco Aironet Desktop Utility. I see this when i click advanced.

Server Based Authentiction: EAP-FAST

Data Encryption: AES

Authentication type: open

Message Integrity Check: AES

The problem i am worried about is the Authentication type: open. Is this an Issue? Could the AP's not be authenticating??

This is normal. There is no security risk (beyond the normal risks associated with wireless).

All of the sensitive information exchanges happen as encrypted traffic.

Good Luck

Scott
