Channel Settings

Hello Experts,

I've 6 Aironet AP configured with 3 ssid's and mapped to specifice vlan's My question do I have configured different channel on each access points or keep the defaul settings.? please clarify

For b/g, I highly suggest you come up with a channel plan of alternating between 1,6,11 only.

If you're going to do that though, you might as well do it for 802.11a as well..

I could be wrong, but I think the AP just looks for the least congested channel at bootup for default config... which in theory could put them on the same channel.... So better to just plan on hard setting between 1 6 11 (so 2 APs will be on 1, 2 on 6, 2 on 11)

I've selected congeste channel on each AP. I dont know whether its correct or no ?
