Unable to activate 5Ghz interface on Cisco Aironet 2600 AP

Hi everybody,

As said in title i'm not able to activate 5Ghz interface in my 2600 Aironet AP.

I tried with CLI commands as :

configure terminal
interface dot11radio 1

no shutdown

end

But nothing changed, Radio1-802.11N5GHz inteface stay in "Disabled" status as show below.

Is there somebody who knows how to enabling it.

Console into the ap and power down, the power on the ap. See if you see any radio errors or hardware errors. Could be a bad radio module which means that the radio will never come up.

Thanks for your reply Scott Fella,

I found how to do it. I had to check "Radio1-802.11N5GHz" box in SECURITY/SSID MANAGER. Checking "Enable" in NETWORK/NETWORK INTERFACE/Radio1-802.11N5GHz/SETTINGS wasn't enough. But now i don't know how to set the wifi key. I tried in CLI like that :

dot11 ssid pa_visiteur
authentication open
authentication key-management
wpa-psk ascii 0 1234567890

I see my SSID, i can write the wifi key but the connection don't work.

I don't catch IP address.

Any idea ?
