    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Cisco 3802E running 8.2.151.0&amp;nbsp; I wan to upgrade it to&amp;nbsp;AIR-AP3800-K9-ME-8-10-130-0.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AP Running Image : 8.2.151.0&lt;BR /&gt;Primary Boot Image : 8.2.151.0&lt;BR /&gt;Backup Boot Image : 0.0.0.0&lt;BR /&gt;1 Multigigabit Ethernet interfaces&lt;BR /&gt;1 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces&lt;BR /&gt;2 802.11 Radios&lt;BR /&gt;Radio Driver version : 9.0.5.5-W8964&lt;BR /&gt;Radio FW version : 9.1.8.1&lt;BR /&gt;NSS FW version :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried the following commands with the same result:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ap-type mobility-express tftp://192.168.255.209/AIR-AP3800-K9-ME-8-10-121-0.tar&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;archive download-sw /no-reload tftp://192.168.255.209/AIR-AP3800-K9-ME-8-10-121-0.tar&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When it boots, it throws and error about imaging signing, then boots the original image.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Checking image signing.&lt;BR /&gt;Image signing verification failure(-2), not allowed to run...&lt;BR /&gt;Trying alternate partition part1&lt;BR /&gt;UBIFS: mounted UBI device 0, volume 0, name "part1"&lt;BR /&gt;Loading file 'part1/part.bin' to addr 0x02000000 with size 18653031 (0x011c9f67)...&lt;BR /&gt;Done&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I think that upgrade path is not allowed. Upgrade first to 8.5.161.0 and then to 8.8.130.0 and lastly to 8.10.130.0 (out of my head).</description>

      <description>Yes it is very clearly stated in the ME instructions: &lt;A href="https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/mob_exp/810/user_guide/b_ME_User_Guide_810/appendix.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/mob_exp/810/user_guide/b_ME_User_Guide_810/appendix.html&lt;/A&gt; although that is also bit out of date (still refers to 8.3)&lt;BR /&gt;If you face issues with converting the AP software to a Cisco Mobility Express software, upgrade the AP CAPWAP software to the latest AP software version ap3g3-k9w8-tar.153-3.JD.tar. Now, you can convert the CAPWAP software to the Cisco Mobility Express software AIR-AP2800-K9-ME-8-3-102-0.tar.&lt;BR /&gt;So get the AP onto the latest equivalent CAPWAP image and then try the conversion to ME.</description>
