Dear Cisco community

I have a 2 question about new wireless controller 9800

Our partner is about to purchase 3504 WLC to replace 2504. But when entering https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/wireless/3504-wireless-controller/index.html Cisco offers to consider 9800 WLC.

My question is: can you advice is any exact plans to publish EOS for 3504. And if no exact date exists may be some suggestion when it can happens.

In addition, I want to know if I can manage 9800 without DNA server.

Contact your Cisco AM/SE/PSS because they will know this answer.

Because the 3504 only support AireOS, I suspect the final software release of 8.10.X.X will be some time 1Q2021.

Yes, the 9800 can be managed without DNA Center or SD-WAN/SD Access.
