Our business has free WiFi offered to our clientele. When they try to connect, they are presented with a terms & conditions page. Upon agreement the user is connected and redirected to the URL. This works perfectly on an iPhone, but Android users are not taken to the URL. Instead, the device's WiFi Settings screen is presented. There are no certificate errors, it just doesn't redirect.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

Does the redirect page has valid certificate? One thing which is different between this two operational system is that Android ask for the full certificate chain while IOS does not. This can be a problem when you dont have this kind of implementation on the web page.

-If I helped you somehow, please, rate it as useful.-

Including the full chain?

What is the virtual-interface ip address on the WLC? It mustn't be 1.1.1.1 or similar, use 192.168.x.x.
