    <description>&lt;P&gt;planning to use cisco waps for home - ceiling mounted.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 3 ceiling drops in 3 locations. I am planning to use the Cisco 571 or 581. and get a cisco poe switch in the closet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;do i need any license or software to manage these waps if I get the waps from ebay?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>This forum is more enterprise related AP's and those apps you mentioned is more home, small business.  My take is depending on what you want, Cisco makes Mobility Express AP's that can be a great fit for your home.       <description>For home I personally would not buy Cisco Enterprise APs (don't know those WAP series at all, only Enterprise models). I personally went the Ubiquiti route for my home. You might also want to check the Meraki solution for at home.</description>
