      <title>PI 3.4 Device addition error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are facing issue with PI 3.4 update 2 with dp 9, if we try to add 3650 CG switch getting an error 'device creation failed. IP address is not unique, Address exist as an interface.But when we search in the PI there is no result.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;does anyone face this issue in PI 3.4 and got any findings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ak&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Marc,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No its different IP segment altogether,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we tried to add that switch first time it was added without any error, but after&amp;nbsp;sometimes we can see that device was not there in&amp;nbsp;PI and if we try to search the management IP address its showing the error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>If you have made sure that no other device has that interface ip defined then it might be an entry that is stale in the db. I have had TAC go in and delete the stale entry in the db for me to add the device successfully. Open a TAC case as they will run queries on the db to decide what they need to do. &lt;BR /&gt;</description>
