So far running well on my WLC 3504 with 3 test APs. Installed it around 4 hours ago, so haven't done a lot of testing yet.

for the 8.5MR4, can we request through TAC only?

As i have some clients who are randomly losing IP address, it seems the DHCP ACK is getting lost suddenly.

Issue started post 8.5.131 so we wanted to know if we can get this IOS.

Anybody else seeing low data throughput rates (from client to server) with the 8.5.137.51 build?
Client is an Intel AC-7265 Windows 10 machine with driver 19.51.14.1?
I haven't yet had time to really test this though, but I'm not getting much more than 8 Mbps upload and around 60 Mbps download attached to an 2802i.

I haven't seen any issues with 2802 speed specifically, I don't have an Intel 7265 NIC to test with though. I've tested on 7260 and 8260 chips without issue.

However, I have seen severe problems on the 702W AP only when using Intel WiFi adapters 7260/8260 with driver versions greater than 18.x.x, only on a WPA2 secured SSID, and only on 5GHz. It's very specific. We found that the Intel driver default setting that puts MIMO SMPS in auto mode causes downstream traffic from the AP to be limited to ~25Mbps. Upstream is not limited. Other APs that we tested weren't affected. The 702W uses a Qualcomm WiFi chip while the rest of our Cisco APs use a Marvel chip. Intel says that older driver versions didn't enable this setting by default. If MIMO SMPS is set to disabled there are no more speed issues. See these bug IDs:

Even though the 2802 isn't affected by our bug and your issue is the reverse of what we saw, you might still try setting MIMO SMPS to disabled anyway. It couldn't hurt, and it seems pretty useless anyway from what I've read. The 702W issue existed on 8.3 and 8.1 also. It's not a new issue, but new to us.

Has anyone seen issues with 702W APs and memory exhaustion after ~10 days of uptime while running 8.5MR4 Release 1? We noticed that ~50% of our 702W APs had rebooted recently. All of them were found to have run out of memory and been forced to reboot. The APs that hadn't rebooted yet were causing many client issues, such as connecting to the AP but no access to the network beyond that. This is what we found in the AP's logs:

Yes, you need the 5500 image - both 2500 and 5500 use the same image file.

I'd guess it will be fixed in the next MR4 release, as it's listed in Bug toolkit as fixed in 8.5.137.88.
