#debug capwap console cli
#erase /all nvram:
#reload
#capwap ap ip address 192.168.2.90 255.255.254.0
#capwap ap ip default-gateway 192.168.2.1

For WLC-2504:

1. first you need to disable radios

2. Then use this command to configure multiple country code on LC:

(WLC) >config country US,BE,.....

3. And then enable both radios again:

(WLC) >config 802.11a enable network
(WLC) >config 802.11b enable network

You can try statically

You can try statically configure IP on your AP (via console) & see if that helps.

http://mrncciew.com/2013/03/17/ap-registration/

Below is sample CLI commands required, change IP details according to your scheme.

capwap ap ip address 10.10.113.5 255.255.255.0
capwap ap ip default-gateway 10.10.113.1
capwap ap controller ip address 10.10.111.10

HTH

HI Sandeep,

You are actually right. Now i have found the problem

it was actually the Country code problem with WLC and AP.

Here's the solution link.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/7-4/configuration/guides/consolidated/b_cg74_CONSOLIDATED/b_cg74_CONSOLIDATED_chapter_01110111.html

Now it works perfectly.

I have one question, if i have several types of AP models, then how can i add more country code on WLC??

Can you please give me the CLI command on how to add more country code on WLC??

Hi,

Hi,

Here are the commands:

1. first you need to disable radios

(WLC) >config 802.11a disable network
(WLC) >config 802.11b disable network

2. Then use this command to configure multiple country code on LC:

(WLC) >config country US,DE,.....

3. And then enable both radios again:

(WLC) >config 802.11a enable network
(WLC) >config 802.11b enable network

More info on my post: https://rscciew.wordpress.com/2014/02/08/country-code-on-wlc/

Info:Running multiple country codes in a single WLC is not a good idea. by doing this, the only common channels will be allowed. Power will also be curtailed to the most common one. One thing to remember when running multiple country codes is that you always run the lowest common setting. You could improve things by splitting the APs up by country and only run specific countries on certain controllers.

Regards

Dont forget to rate helpful posts

Hi Sandeep,
Is there a way for us to know what channels the RRM is currently useing when the controller supports multiple countries? I am reading that RRM would use common channels which are allowed in all the countries the WLC support. But, when it comes to reality, how can we know what channels that RRM is using to assign to AP's?
