I've tried that, but there is no service contract on my device.

Have you, or anyone, else had luck getting them to provide it in this case?

Or, has anyone done this process and still has the file?

Hi people! I had problems with updating the WLC image from 7.0 to 7.2, and made a BIG mistake... I had formatted the flash. So now i do not have RTOS installed on my WLC. The only thing i have is the bootloader 1.0.16. Of course i can not install the code file (*.aes). I think that i need a RTOS to install first? but where can i get one for this device??? Or may be i can install any of RTOS from openwrt (for example) just to enter a normal command line or web GUI, after what i could install (upgrade) the normal .aes image. Please give some sugestions, what to do. Thank you!

I ended up talking to TAC and internal teams to recover the device and in the end it wasn't recoverable - had to have it replaced by my lab support team.
