Hi,

Since few days I'm facing issue of low signal strength and frequent disconnections of WLAN for many of my user's. In my organization we are using AP1230AG in autonomus mode and some with WLC.

I have checked and we have configured power at max in Dot11 Radio interface. Even at some places we have configured separate channels but it also didnt worked out.

Looking for expert help and suggetion over this.

TIA

Ashish

Ashish,

Are your autonomous and lightweight 1230s mixed in the same physical environment yet publishing the same SSIDs? This can cause connectivity dropout issues for clients.

Also, if you walk around with a wifi discovery client like InSSIDer, do you see low/no signal strengths where you expect to see high RSSI?

Justin
