Does your client pool include both wireless and wired

Your interface config is bit confusing, it has a trunking encapsulation as well as an access vlan . Can you configure the port either as trunk or as an access port

Thanks

NikhiL

Hello,

we have a few access points connected to a 2960 cisco switch which in turns connects to 3560 Layer 3 switch

there are two vlans (vlan 1 (192.168.10.0) and vlan2 (192.168.20.0) )..currently all users (including wireless) users are on vlan 1 which gets ip froma Novell dhcp server. i have moved all the access points onto the 192.168.20.11 - 192.168.20.20 (!0 access points). now dhcp for wireless users need to provided by the switch (3560) which is directly connected to 2960 switch (trunk mode)....but somehow the users seem to get ip from the 192.168.10.0 range..

this is the config on the 2960 switch

int range fa0/1-24

switchport mode trunk

switchport trunk encap dotq

switchport allowed vlan10,20

switchport mode access 20

however on giving the command (switchport trunk native vlan20) seems to work? any idea

int range fa0/1-24

switchport mode trunk

switchport trunk encap dotq

switchport allowed vlan10,20

switchport mode access 20

switchport trunk native vlan20

Thanks
