    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/opt/locserver/db/linux/server-end.db&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Deleting this file, sets the Location appliance back to default from a database perspective (deletes any interaction that has been done through WCS).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is also the initial config wizard :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/opt/locserver/setup/setup.sh&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can run it to reconfigure basic 2710 options.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In case of lost root password to appliance :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;TITLE&gt;&lt;/TITLE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - Once the GRUB screen comes up, press Esc to enter the boot menu&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - Press 'e' to edit&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - Navigate to the line beginning with "kernel", and press 'e'&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - At ehe end of the line put a space, followed by the text "init=/opt/locserver/setup/setup.sh"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - Press Enter to save this change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - Press 'b' to begin booting&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - The boot sequence will commence at the end of which the initial location appliance setup script will be run.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - The user may follow the instructions given by the script to change one or more location related parameters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - At the end of the script, the user will be asked if they would like to reboot the machine&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - Select yes, and let the machine reboot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt; - Please note, that if the user only wishes to change the password, the pre-beringer recovery method will work as well.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;I hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Nicolas&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;=== &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;don't forget to rate answers that you find useful&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Factory reset Location Applicance</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Guys,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i am trying to factory reset my location appliance from the serial.&amp;nbsp; the reason for this is that i down graded it last night and am having issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I notice that you can clear the config once you add it to WCS but i cant do this, gives me an error that either my username is incorrect or networking issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Am happy to reinstall the whole thing if need be.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; thanks for your reply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i didnt have that file:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;[root@loc-server root]# /opt/locserver/db/linux/server-end.db&lt;BR /&gt;-bash: /opt/locserver/db/linux/server-end.db: No such file or directory&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but did have a server-eng.db that i could delete.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in the end i uninstalled the server and reinstalled which has resolved my problem (After hours of fighting with it)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks again for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MJ&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
