Link status is down, Physical mode is auto, physical status auto&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I cannot change any of the options like "Physical Mode" to&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="http://supportforums.cisco.com/sites/default/files/legacy/2/9/5/8592-4400-2.JPG" class="jive-image" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="http://supportforums.cisco.com/sites/default/files/legacy/3/9/5/8593-4400-3.JPG" class="jive-image" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe you could provide some ideas as to why we cannot get this gigabitethernet port active.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The fibre transiever is Cisco and is working as we tested it on a Cisco Switch.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The port on the swtich we are connecting to is configured as a trunk port.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks again&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;440X WLC is connected which port on the 2960 switch? is it a GIG port??? if its a fa port, then the port wil be down.. it should be GIG to GIG. also the port config on the switch should be trunk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;check the command&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;config port &lt;PORT number=""&gt; ?&lt;/PORT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you will see much options here..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Surendra&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

WLC is made for "auto" and expects the other side to be auto as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you also check your GBIC/GLC-T ?       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Links seem to be opertational now, error message we are getting on the 4400 is strange when trying to connect a&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9 it is :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last Error Occured - Lwapp configuration request rejected&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last Error Occured Reason - Invalid License in configuration request&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 4402 is licensed for 25?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We can see the AP but it is not being allowed to join under static or DHCP during the discovery?&amp;nbsp; Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
