topic WDS Priority tie? How is it solved? in Wireless

Hello!

I'm configuring two WDS AP's (one backup of the other) but it would be convenient that I create a template on WLSE to this. The problem is that I define priority and it will be the same to both WDS's.... what is the criterion for untying? I've tested fallback, by disabling the active WDS and all AP's registered on backup, but when primary went up again, all AP's registered back to the primary, nevertheless they had same priority. Fa0 Mac address was higher on primary WDS. I can't find it on documentation, but i'd like to have it cleared.

Thanks

The Configure tab allows you to view, create, copy, edit and delete Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE) configuration templates and apply them to large numbers of devices at a time.

To create a configuration template, perform these steps:

1. Select Configure > Templates. The Templates dialog box appears.

2.Depending upon the type of template you want to create, select IOS or non-IOS.

3.Enter a unique name.

4.Click Create New. The window refreshes with the Template Creation menu in the left pane and the Template Name dialog box in the right pane.

5.To create a configuration template, select the choices in the left pane.

For more information refer to the following document.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps3915/products_user_guide_chapter09186a00801d0905.html#wp1022783

Sorry, I haven't explained my self properly...

My problem is NOT how to configure a template...

I would only like to know how is the untying process when two AP's on the same subnet have the same priority configured. Which one will be active and why.

Thanks

Gustavo
