You can use an Cisco MSE (3350) appliance for the location tracking. This integrates with Aeroscout tags fairly well.

Check the release notes for the MSE appliance:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/mse/3350/release/notes/mse5130.html#wp1036849

Refer to the AeroScout Context-Aware Engine for Tags, for Cisco Mobility Services Engine User's Guide at the following link:

http://support.aeroscout.com

You need to have a location license for your WCS and then the integration is very simple with the MSE appliance.

The MSE will also let you track all the clients on the wireless network that are connected to controllers on the WCS maps.

So you will see the computers pretty much real time on the WCS maps.

I am curious as to what you all are using for location tracking? I have WCS already in place...Is the location add-on for it the way to go or is something else such as the Ekahau system better? Also, what are you using for tags? Ekahau, AeroScout, something else?

FYI: I manage a medical campus network with 500 APs. Lots of things here that we could track.

Thanks.
