Hi good day. Thanks for your response. I've verified the channels already. We have assigned the correct channels accordingly with regards to non-overlapping channels 1,6 and 11. There are other ap's nearby. There are around 6 ap's on that area, 2ap's using ch1, 2ap's using ch6 and 2ap's using ch11. Is there an acceptable percentage for wireless interface output errors to packets output ratio? Thanks

dawlims

Hi All,

I've noticed most of our ap dot11radio0 interface has some output errors. I saw on cisco site that this could be caused by wireless interference within the 2.4ghz band. What could be the other causes for this "output errors" and what is the acceptable percentage in relation to total packet output? Please see output below.

To add, for this ap. Normally there's not client using this ap, since this is under conference room. I even setting up another new ap on that location and I temporarily powered off the old one. Still I see the same errors incrementing once in a while. Other access points on this floor still has errors but they are no more than 1% of the total output packets. With this specific ap/location, I usually see around 8-10% errors. Thanks

dawlims
