Is there a way to display counters -- including physical layer errors -- on the dual RG-6 cable linking the AP to its power injector?

Seems to me that 'sh int' displays counters for the dot11Radio0 interface (in the AP) and for the FastEthernet0 interface (the RJ-45 in the power injector) ... but I don't see anything corresponding to an interface to the coax cable running between the two. [BTW: does anyone know what protocol runs over the coax? Ethernet-over-shielded-RG, I suppose ... does this have a specific name?)

I believe that my coax has been damaged (water penetration), and I'm looking for a way to quantify physical layer problems with transmission over it.

--sk

Stuart Kendrick

FHCRC

Seattle, WA

You could use the "show power-injector" command to look at the stats.
