Authentication and re-authentication and renewing IP Addresses (currently set to 1 day) If a client fails to authenticate or is required to re-authenticate, normally due to a connectivity loss or interface resets, they can not aquire an IP Address without re-booting.

We're seeing a lot of 350-series APs (with updated IOS ver 12.2(15)XR2 from VxWorks) with interface resets on the Dot11radio0 interface.

Can anyone explain what causes an 'Interface reset' on the Dot11radio0 interface? What happens to wireless clients during that reset period...if Voip call is called dropped?

Can anything be done to reduce / eliminate the interface resets?

Interesting...thanks for the reply. We're running the latest version of WLSE (2.13??) but older versions of IOS on the APs.
