Hi all!

The topology is a pont to point bridge link with 350 series bridges.

rootbr<------WLAN---------->Non-rootbr<---->switch<---->Ethernet hosts

Signal Str. 35%

What could cause the following?

The link is working corretly, But about half an hour or random period the link go wrong. The signal strength is still 35% and the link test between the bridges is good. The device says that 100 packet attempt 100 succesful. But the ping between the devices not work. And I cannot acces the devices behind the non-root bridge. After this I have several messages in the log.

The logs:

root Bridge

(Info): Deauthentication from [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:49 (Info): Station [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5 Reassociated

2003/03/05 15:08:49 (Info): Started driver for port "br10"

2003/03/05 15:08:49 (Info): Station [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5 Authenticated

2003/03/05 15:08:49 (Info): Deauthenticating [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:49 (Info): Stopped driver for port "br10"

2003/03/05 15:08:49 (Info): Deauthentication from [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:27 (Info): Station [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5 Reassociated

2003/03/05 15:08:27 (Info): Started driver for port "br10"

2003/03/05 15:08:27 (Info): Station [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5 Authenticated

2003/03/05 15:08:27 (Info): Deauthenticating [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:27 (Info): Stopped driver for port "br10"

2003/03/05 15:08:27 (Info): Deauthentication from [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:05 (Info): Station [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5 Reassociated

2003/03/05 15:08:05 (Info): Started driver for port "br10"

2003/03/05 15:08:05 (Info): Station [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5 Authenticated

2003/03/05 15:08:05 (Info): Deauthenticating [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:05 (Info): Stopped driver for port "br10"

2003/03/05 15:08:05 (Info): Deauthentication from [Non-rootBR-Bfured]0040965867a5, reason "Not Authenticated"

Non-root Bridge w/0 clients

(Warning): Lost Authentication with Parent

2003/03/05 15:08:52 (Info): Associated to Parent [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940

2003/03/05 15:08:52 (Warning): Lost Authentication with Parent

2003/03/05 15:08:52 (Info): Associated to Parent [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940

2003/03/05 15:08:51 (Info): Deauthenticating [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:51 (Warning): Lost Authentication with Parent

2003/03/05 15:08:30 (Info): Associated to Parent [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940

2003/03/05 15:08:30 (Warning): Lost Authentication with Parent

2003/03/05 15:08:30 (Info): Associated to Parent [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940

2003/03/05 15:08:29 (Info): Deauthenticating [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:29 (Warning): Lost Authentication with Parent

2003/03/05 15:08:08 (Info): Associated to Parent [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940

2003/03/05 15:08:08 (Warning): Lost Authentication with Parent

2003/03/05 15:08:08 (Info): Associated to Parent [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940

2003/03/05 15:08:07 (Info): Deauthenticating [ROOTBR-Bfured]00409654e940, reason "Not Authenticated"

2003/03/05 15:08:07 (Warning): Lost Authentication with Parent

Thanks your reply!

It seems that the raising the beacon period works. It can be useful in AP and Clint situations where the client continously reassociate to the AP with the failure lost authentication?

szicsu

And there is a lot of clients that reassociates the AP continously.....Is the beacon period can help in this situation? What is the good value for APs?

Thanks your reply in advance!
