      <title>Calculating Vertical Beam?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Okay, here is a quick question.  How is the best way to calculate vertical beam width for wireless antenna's.   &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is an example.  Let's say you have a 12db OMNI with a 7 degree V beam width.  It's mounted on a pole 100' in the air.  .25 miles away we have a 13db Yagi with a 25 degree vertial width. The Yagi is mounted 30 feet in the air.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, basically how would I calculate at what distance would the signal for the OMNI would hit the yagi? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sense?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Spencer&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
