If pre-upload multiple images (ver8.3.x and 8.5.x) to controller, will it cause any issue?

Hi, can we pre-upload multiple images to wireless controllers ? current version is 8.0.x, then can pre-upload images 8.3.x, and 8.5.x to the controller? but don't reboot the controller after uploading. Will it be any issue? or only after upgrade to 8.3.0, then can start to upload 8.5.x image ? please advise, thanks.

Hi,

The WLC, by default, maintains two images. These images are the primary image and the backup image. The primary image is the active image used by the WLC while the backup image is used as a backup for the active image.

You can but once you reload it you will have only latest two firmware (8.3 and 8.5)
