Cisco 9800-40 Initial Configuration

Hi All,

I have couple of questions regarding the initial setup of a 9800-40.

1) is it possible to configure an etherchannel on two of the 10GbE data ports using the day0 wizard as I dont see an option for this? Will this need to be configured manual via the CLI if not?

2) With the 9800-CL we needed to configure a certificate before the APs would associate. Is this the same for the 9800-40s as well?

As far as I know, the day 0 is to just bring the unit up as basic as possible. You can skip that and manually create a script to push the basic config with your settings.

You don’t have to deal with the certificate like the CL unless the certificate is bad, which you would just have to regenerate the cert.
