Please help with 3504 licensing

We current bought a 3504 WLC. We need to license it for 8 APs. We also wanted a support contract for the WLC.

Please provide correct license SKU to buy. We think this is what we need:

Cisco LIC-CT3504-1A 8 QTY

Cisco CON-SNT-AIRCTRTK 1 QTY

Start with Top-level SKU: LIC-CT3504-UPG

Then select LIC-CT3504-1A - Qty 8

And Cisco CON-SNT-AIRCTRTK is SNTC-8X5XNBD Cisco 3504 Wireless Controller.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am even more confused with Cisco licensing.

I just want to be able to use my Cisco 3504 for 8 access points.

Is the LIC-CT3504-UPG just for ability to download firmware? What is difference between this and the smartnet contract?

I thought i can just get a support contract and 8 AP license. Support contract should allow me to download firmware updates?

If you have "CON-SNT-AIRCTRTK" which supposedly is "SNTC-8X5XNBD" you should be able to download software.

The other license you need per AP you want to use simultaneously.

1 x CON-SNT-AIRT3504

No need for the LIC-CT3504-UPG ?
