      <title>Adding access point to WLC 2504</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 7 access points running on WLC 2504 and trying to add another one for a total of 8 APs&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sysinfo shows I am allowed up to 75 access points,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;license is showing I have 7 AP in use of 7 available but have another license for 5 not in use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is the best way to proceed here? new license?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;(Cisco Controller) &amp;gt;show sysinfo&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Manufacturer's Name..............................       <description>&lt;P&gt;75 is the maximum count support by 2500 model controller.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Currently you have 7 no. of license in your controller.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Issue the command show udi on the cli of WLC and share the Product ID of it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;May be this WLC procured with 5 AP license and later 2 more adder license where installed on it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Seems at the initial stage controller was having the 5 AP license installed and then additional 2 license (So its showing 5 + 2 = 7)were installed on that. Currently the 7 license is in active.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want to add more than 7 APs, You have to purchase license and have to install in on the WLC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>As this product is EOS, I think you can't anymore buy licenses for it, but better check that with your Cisco Reseller.&lt;BR /&gt;You require an "Adder License" for the amount of additional APs you want.&lt;BR /&gt;Don't forget to reboot the WLC after adding a new license.</description>
