Hi to all,

my customer has the wireless bridges for some zones not reachable with the cabling structure.

At the moment the bridges are with the AP1242, I'm looking for replace these old AP but I found that in all the new ones are not possible to install the Autonomous IOS but the Mobility Express that not permit the bridge configuration.

Has anyone find a solution to this problem?

Is there any possibility to replace the old wireless bridge with Autonomous IOS's AP with the new ones in Mobility Express?

Hi,

Its not possible.

Mobility Express allow AP to run baisc WLC functionality within it. It is not act as autonomous image where you can put radios into "Root Bridge /Non-Root Bridge/WorkGroup Bridge mode).

if you can get other AP like: 2700(alredy EoS) or 1530 AP then you could use them as bridge.

Regards

Dont forget to arte helpful posts
