AP1815W Licensing for 5508 Controller

Hello All,

I´m configuring in the CCW a 1815W AP for a 5508 controller.

Actually I'm include a L-LIC-CT5508-5A license for " 5 AP Adder License for the 5508 Controller " and a 1815W AP, but this included automaticly a LIC-CT5520-1AP-INT license (only for cisco 5520, 3504 and 8540 Wireless Controller 1 AP Lic integrated with AP )

Two questions.

1. it´s possible configurate a 1815W in the 5508 with any license for the three options ( 5520, 3504 and 8540 ) with the 5508 wireless controller?

2. somebody knows if the license of the 1815w for wireless controller has a anual fee? ( in CCW the cost is 0$)

The 5508 has a different license model that the 3504, 5520 and 8540 (These use RTU license). So you will need to purchase license for the amount of ap's you have. Typically you have a support contract that is anual if you want to be able to download firmware and or contact Cisco TAC.
