5508 WLC Webbundle authentication error

Hello all i am facing an error of "error while extracting web auth files" when trying to upload the new tar files on WLC.

Currently using 5508 WLC running on 7.6.130 SW version with external TFTP server running on windows 10

Plan to customize the Guest login, Hence download the web bundle from cisco.com and edited the waa file

Edited version of .tar file size is less than 1M and having login.html and aup.html file

.tar file created on local desktop which running on windows 7 using 7-zip (trial version) & Picozip (trial version) and Powerarchiver 2018 (trail version) and the file has been moved to TFTP server which running on windows 10.

Also tried to use cygwin but unfortunately not able install due to admin restriction.

Any other way to overcome this issue. Kindly let me know.

Wow that's an old version of WLC code. Besides the obvious suggestion to upgrade to 8.0 (unless you have devices which will be unsupported afterwards), did you tell your compression programs to create a TAR file and not a ZIP file?
Those are completely different filetypes.
