Hi all

Haing recently upgraded an HA pair of 8510 to version 8.3.143.0 I suddenly found that the switches were complaining about Duplex mismatches on ports connected to APs. I did some troubleshooting and googling and came to the conclusion that these were erroneous messages. However I do have a couple of questions regarding some of the CLI commands I used:

1. show ap config general

This displayed that the Duplex was Full, is this a report that the Duplex is configured as Full, or is it reporting that the state of the port is Full?

2. config ap ethernet duplex autho speed auto <Cisco AP>

This command is deprecated, is there another command that allows me to set the duplex and speed of the AP port(s)?

Kind Regards

Terry

Thanks for the response, however I know it's a known bug. My questions are related to what the CLI commands are telling me rather than the issue itself.

Regards

Terry

Please, I need help on setting up WLC5508. Have made initial configuration and can WLC via service port but cannot access via management port. Also, I cannot ping the management interface from my switch. Both management interface and service port are in different IP network.
