      <description>Certificates are stored in different "partition".  Firmware are stored in another different "partition".  So upgrading the firmware won't touch other partition.</description>

      <description>Leo is right.  As long as you are not factory defaulting the unit, the certificate will stay through upgrades and downgrades.</description>
