Hi,

Wlc 5760

guest portal in ISE

Once the user connected to ssid and then user opens web browser ,As far as I know it should redirect automatically .But it does not happen.

So the user opens broswer and type https://.........com .

It is not redirecting to ise portal and giving site can't be reached .

If the user type http.....,it just work fine .

I added ip http secure-server in the controller ,it gives the your connection is not private net::err_cert_authority_invalid

What about the configuratio of:

MANAGEMENT -> HTTP-HTTPS > HTTPS Redirection ‘Enabled’

Can you check?

Didn´t notice you mentioned Wlc 5760. For this version is ip http secure-server and you did it already. Is it DNS ok?

Also, when working with ISE as portal you need to enable 'aaa override' and redirect ACL. Do you have it?

I have the same issue and think to install a SSL certificate. But I am still finding the right way to do it.

I have this same issue on 5508 anchor WLC running 8.3.133.2. I'm being told that it is a 8.3.133.x bug and I should downgrade to 8.2.166 or try 8.3.135 which is supposedly coming soon. It is so weird because we have over 4,ooo Guest clients daily but still with a handful of clients that can't join unless they type the url in their browser. Also going into the cli and typing "config client deauth <mac address>"

has worked on some devices too.
