Hey all,

Can someone give me a breakdown of what is included in a wIPS meta alert. I see these coming in now and then but there is very little data I have been able to find about what they represent.

Please take a look at the wIPS Policy Alarm Encyclopedia for more information about alarm descriptions and possible causes.

Unfortunately I have read over a few version of this document already. There are no references to meta alerts as far as what I have been able to locate.

I have also looked under the Security Penetration section and nothing specific to meta alerts there.
