Hello there

I bought Aironet 2702e AP from Cisco and i just couldn't configure in a normal way. I try to move to autonomous using tftp and i followed every steps but i just got this error. %Error opening tftp://255.255.255.255/ap3g2-k9w7-tar.default (connection timed o ut)

Connection timed out means

Connection timed out means the AP is sending out broadcast to find the TFTP server (where the file is located) but nothing is responding.

If you have a 2700, console into the AP and enter the command "config ap autonomous".

The AP will boot and load into autonomous.
