Compatibilty between MC and MA of 3850 switches

Hi Experts,

Can we have MC's and MA's of different version in 3850 switch model? Currently all of our MA & MC's are in 3.6.3e version , we want to perform upgrade to 3.6.6e in one of our MA and see the performance of the AP's associated with that IDF.

Please provide your thought on this.
