    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Experts!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have configured LAP, I have ticked on the static IP however, I am unable to ping the static IP.       <description>&lt;P&gt;hi, scott is correct, the above ip is the dhcp address that the AP picked up. this can happen if the AP is unable to discover the WLC using the static ip.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you want to use the static ip, you need to make sure the static ip can reach the WLC management ip address and you have defined the primary wlc name and ip in the high availability tab of the AP.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
