Hi ,

I have ordered Cisco CAP2602i access points , the software ordered was MESH ,is there any way we can change the software to RECOVERY after we received the WAP.

You can add the ethernet MAC address of the AP on to WLC mac filter (secuirty -> MAC filter) & then you can register this AP as a Mesh AP. Then you can change the mode to Local.

Otherwise you can upload the recovery image onto the AP via TFTP. Pls see the below for more detail

Thanks Rasika, Does Local mode here mean automonous ? or is it the recovery image.

No, Local mode mean the standard Light Weigth Access point mode (Not Autonomous)
