I just bought this wireless router cause I thought my old one was busted. Turns out my old one works. Can I use my wrt54gh wireless router as an access point in conjunction with my wrt54g2 router to give access to the lower floor of my house?

I understand you cannot use 2 router on the same network? Meaning I cannot connect my wrt54gh to 1 of the 4 LAN ports of my wrt54g2...unless I can disable the router functionality of my wrt54gh, right?

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

That is correct. You need to be able to disable the router functionality or else you would be natting thought the wrt.

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

No idea... If its not in the configuration then no. Usually you have to buy an access point not a router.

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App
