Hi, I am attempting to configure a Aironet 1042N AP From my understanding it does not have an IP out the box. I attempted to access the console which I can view it booting up but then it hangs on the following:

*Mar 1 00:14:23.027: %SYS-5-RESTART: System restarted --

Cisco IOS Software, C1040 Software (C1140-K9W7-M), Version 12.4(25d)JA1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport

Copyright (c) 1986-2011 by Cisco Systems, Inc.

Compiled Thu 11-Aug-11 02:58 by prod_rel_team

*Mar 1 00:14:23.028: %SNMP-5-COLDSTART: SNMP agent on host ap is undergoing a cold start

*Mar 1 00:14:23.987: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface BVI1, changed state to up

*Mar 1 00:14:24.002: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to down

*Mar 1 00:14:24.002: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to down

*Mar 1 00:15:45.717: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface GigabitEthernet0, changed state to down

*Mar 1 00:15:47.717: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface BVI1, changed state to down

*Mar 1 00:15:48.717: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface BVI1, changed state to down

*Mar 1 00:15:55.717: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface GigabitEthernet0, changed state to up

*Mar 1 00:16:04.898: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface BVI1, changed state to up

*Mar 1 00:16:05.898: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface BVI1, changed state to up

It does nothing after that just hangs I am unable to obtain a command prompt

Can anyone give me some insight as why this might be.

Thanks ahead of time
