Also if the cards are of cisco an option in ACU "scan for better access points" ca be disabled.       <description>&lt;P&gt;1) Do the 1120 by default search for the least congested channel and stick with that?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) In a large complex, wireless network are there any advantages to using least congested?  ie multiple floors, lots of overlays, rogue aps, etc.  By hardcoding the channel I know something else will come up on the same chanel.  I think my problem is the customer installed too many radios in too small an area.  How can overcome having to hardcode the channel?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I called Cisco TAC, the SE suggested leaving least-congested might be a bad idea.  A scenario would be "kid on skate board rides by, and AP-A changes channels, the AP-B nearby reacts to that, then AP-C see detects interference from what AP-C did so it changes frequencies, and this mushrooms on.  Then another person sets up a rogue AP which causes another ripple effect".  This is like spanning-tree, don't guess what channels are where, or where your root bridge is at today (advice, hardcode the channel in your APs and the root bridge in your Catalysts)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
