I arrived at this forum choosing the WIRELESS > MOBILITY > SECURITY & NETWORK MANAGEMENT

Wireless Controller 5508

My SSID has L2 security = WAP+WAP2

The WPA+WPA parameters are:

WPA policy is enabled

WPA encryption is checked AES

WPA2 policy is enabled

WPA2 encryption is AES

I use (2) AAA servers for authentication and accounting

Is the AES encrypption using 128 or 256?

I have searched the controller but not found an answer.

I checked on the AP's but did not find the answer.

I checked on my latop wireless profile/Properties and did not find the answer.

I checked the Wireless ACS server, but did not find answer.

Please advise at your earliest opportunity

Actually aes comes in 128, 192 and 256. The 802.11i WPA2 is 128 bit cipher block.

Thanks for the clarification. I had misunderstood which forum and thought it was the Security version of the Net Management forum. So the answer from George is much more appropriate for you than mine was.
