I think the only way is to contact Cisco and ask them to lookup the serial numbers for you.

Here's the fastest way:

1. Compile a list of your appliance's serial number into an email;

2. Include your name and your CCO username (no need for password);

3. Email the list to tac@cisco.com.

Because this is an email, the first stop will be the Cisco Entitlements team. They will individually go through your s/n one-by-one to determine if you are covered.

Thank you Scott, but what i wanted to know is there a tool like a page on Cisco Website where i can put serial numbers and it can tell me if this device is still under waranty or not like several other vendors are providing like HP, Imperva etc.

They have a URL just go there put the details like serial number and it will tell me instantly if it is covered or not, and if it is covered when it's gonna expire (waranty).

I don't think that works as if its not registered, you will get an error. So basically you need smartnet. If you don't have smartnet, you really only get 90 days from the purchase date. You can always open a TAC case and request the limited lifetime warranty.

I think this is the best way to check the warranty of an SKU. I am not sure it works by SN though

Of course if a product is covered by a Smartnet you wont be able to see that

Yes Cisco Warranty Finder is perfect tool for this. It will provide all the detail related to warranty.

This tool is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination!!! it ONLY tells you the entitlement and the services on offer for a particular product.....IT DOES NOT TELL YOU IF YOUR PRODUCT IS IN OR OUT OF WARRANTY.

such a simple task and its not available on this already complicated website of Cisco's - its no wonder resellers like us get so frustrated when attempting to sell thier products.

You can add your serial numbers in devices part(My Devices) in Cisco website (Login required). after that you can see "Warranty Expiry" and lots of useful information about your devices. You can also export your all devices to single file with your device information.
