For WPA-PSK you define a key but it is not a WEP key - it is configured as wpa-psk and called a pre-shared key. For the other WPA options no WEP key is defined either.

WPA understanding

Hi. I am a little bit confused with WPA. I hope someone can help me dispel my doubts.

Regarding dynamic WEP keys generation. How are they really generated? Also, how is the first WEP key generated (I believe it is done just on the RADIUS server and client card, but not on the AP)?

Is it necessary to define any WEP keys on the client, AP or RADIUS server in order for WPA to work properly?

How is WPA related to EAP (LEAP, PEAP, EAP-TLS, etc.)?

Any link that covers this topic (WPA and dynamic key genertion) in-depth, not just basics?

Thanks in advance to you all.
