I am deploying 30 access points and each needs five mobility groups in which downstream multicast traffic is needed. I am thinking of creating a subnet that can support the 30 IPs for the access points and the 1 layer 3 address for the multicast VLAN on first hop router ( actually the links terminate on 6509 switch).
