I do not see any problem. Since the BVI interface is the management port on the AP's your configuration is fine. And I also do not think that the Management VLAN has to be in the default VLAN 1.

The management VLAN for our APs is 196. Is there anything wrong with setting up the BVI interface as follows:?

interface BVI1

no ip address

no ip route-cache

!

interface BVI196

ip address 130.39.196.48 255.255.252.0

no ip route-cache

!

ip default-gateway 130.39.196.1
