If you want to know when a switch is down, then define alerts to email you. There is no report that specifically shows when a switch or any device is down. You can always look at inventory status and then filter for devices not reachable. Alerts are the way to go.

Create an alert and have that alert send you an email. Then you will know when a switch is down, when it happens. There is no monthly report that tells you what devices when down. Then you just look at your email for that month and you will see your devices.
