Prime Infra Outbound connection

Hello,

Can some one went through this kind of behaviour on cisco Prime

Prime is making outbound telnet connections to an IP of 6.188.x.x on port 23.

We thinks its a security risk, Can someone help out how to rectify this.

Block it or else make sure you don’t have any devices with that ip defined in as a device or in the Prime cli show run.

Thanks for the reply.

We have blocked the IP on the firewall and don't see any device with the mention IP address in prime infra. either No config for the IP address in prime show run.

Your best option is to open a TAC case.
